The European Commission said on Monday it was “greatly concerned” by reports Hungary’s foreign minister shared sensitive EU negotiation details with Russia. The Washington Post cited officials saying Peter Szijjarto briefed Sergei Lavrov during meetings. Szijjarto dismissed the report as “fake news” and “senseless conspiracy theories”.
