Rarer than the panda: Photographing China's snub-nosed monkeys (China series: Part 1)

Photo: Erez Marom This time I'd like to tell you about a trip I've been planning for over five years, and only managed to realize early this year. Every time I had planned to go, something went wrong, to the point that I was sure the universe was trying to prevent me from going, and this time was no exception. But this time, I didn't let anything stop me. I traveled to Sichuan and Yunnan provinces in the beautiful land of China. This was my first visit to China, and I was overcome by the beauty of the land, its landscapes and wildlife. Apart from a terrible jet lag that I just couldn't shake throughout the trip, the visit went really well, and most importantly, the wildlife was even better than I expected. I'd like to take this opportunity to show you some of the images I captured during my two-week visit and share my experience.
