Batons, barricades, barrage of queries: Journey interrupted at Delhi’s borders

In response to protest-related concerns, police have established multiple checkpoints at Delhi's entry points, rigorously inspecting vehicles and questioning drivers about their destinations. Commuters are experiencing significant delays, with some journeys extended considerably. Stricter measures have been enforced on buses from other states, often requiring passengers to disembark. Only those demonstrating urgent need or necessity are permitted to continue their travels, contributing to overall travel disruptions.
