3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password
• You must not share your account credentials
• You are responsible for all activity under your account
• One person may only create one account

3.2 Account Security

• Use a strong, unique password
• Log out from shared devices

4. User Content and Conduct

5. Points, Credits, and Gamification

5.1 Virtual Currency

• Points and credits are virtual items with no real-world monetary value
• Points cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged for cash
• We may adjust point values or rewards at any time
• Credits are used to submit content beyond free daily limits

5.2 Earning System

• Earn 2 points per upvote you receive
• Earn 5 points per approved comment
• Daily streak bonuses for consecutive activity
• 5 free URL shares per day; additional shares cost 15 credits
• 50 points convert to 10 credits daily (15 credits with 7+ day streak)

5.3 Abuse Prevention

Manipulation of the points/credits system will result in immediate account suspension, including:

• Self-voting with alternate accounts
• Vote trading or coordination
• Automated voting scripts

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Platform Ownership

All aspects of the Service, including design, text, graphics, logos, code, and functionality, are owned by Upvote.link and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

6.2 User Content

• Users retain copyright to their original content
• Submitted URLs and links do not transfer ownership
• Comments and descriptions must not infringe on others' rights

6.3 Copyright Infringement
