Hani’s race against time: Cancer in a time of war in Lebanon

In Lebanon, the reach of the war is stretching far beyond the front lines. For those with chronic illnesses, the conflict has created a silent, secondary crisis - cutting off access to the life-saving medicine they need to survive. In Beirut’s oncology wards, the cost of treatment is too much for some families to bear. Among them is eight-year-old Hani, whose battle for recovery is now a race against time.
