Macworld Apple has wasted no time in starting to test the next release of iOS 26, iPadOS 26, watchOS 26, macOS 26, etc. The 26.6 releases focus on bug fixes and security updates, but there’s an interesting additional function: it optimizes the Spotlight search index in preparation for iOS 27 this fall.
