Peace Test Announce New Album Repercussion: Hear “Total Power”

The city of Providence, Rhode Island has a proud history of vast, violent, unhinged music, and Peace Test fit right into that. Peace Test aren't in the same experimental freak mode as, say, Lightning Bolt or Dropdead. Instead, they play fearsome, guttural, classic-style hardcore, but they crank the speed and intensity to extreme levels that we rarely see these days. Earlier this week, Peace Test announced plans to follow their 2022 full-length debut Pry with a new one called Repercussion. They recorded it with producer Trevor Vaughan, of bands like the Rival Mob and Wound Man, and lead single "Total Power" is a frantic two-minute attack. Check it out below.
