That news spawned speculation that founding bassist Peter Hook might be rejoining the band: In the nearly two decades since his departure, Hook has been embroiled in a verbal and legal feud with New Order frontman Bernard Sumner, and Hook doesn't seem pleased with the musical direction New Order have taken without him.
