The result follows similarly strong Q1 findings on conversion rates and order values.
The important point is not that AI is replacing search overnight. Shopify describes the channel as early and growing, while acknowledging imperfect attribution and an undisclosed dataset size. But its findings suggest that AI-driven product discovery is already producing stronger intent signals for many merchants, especially where product specifications, comparisons, and clear catalog information influence a buying decision.
