Those leaked camera-equipped AirPods probably aren’t coming this year

But if you think the existence of an instructional video means the product must be ready for launch, you’re in for some bad news. According to the well-connected Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman, the leak changes nothing, and the devices still won’t launch until 2027. The video apparently exists because the AirPods have been in development for a long time and were originally slated to launch in 2026.
