Macworld Apple’s iPhone event is in just a few weeks, and one of the surprises we’ve been hoping to see are a new pair of AirPods Pro with built-in cameras. And now Apple might have confirmed that they are ready to launch. Hidden in the macOS 26.7 release candidate, which landed Monday night and includes “important security fixes,” are two references to the rumored AirPods project. The first is a mention of the code name B790, which doesn’t amount to much more than a confirmation that the earbuds are indeed in development. But the other leak is far more interesting. As spotted by Macrumors contributor Aaron Perris, a video hidden in the macOS 27 release candidate code contains a full video of the AirPods cameras in action.
